Description
Short king.
In my opinion, the best use of these small propagation jars is to put one fairly small cutting in it and let it do its thing. You can throw a few in it, there’s room, but I like having just one cutting, one that I really like, and letting it really stretch its legs. Similar to the bigger 500ml variant, this little jar genuinely brings something a little bit special to your kitchen windowsill or your office desk. It’s small enough to be called ‘cute’, yet big enough for your cuttings to thrive.
Round bottom, flat base.
Just like its bigger sibling, the round bottom is where the vast majority of the capacity is. It gives enough room for your plants to stretch their legs and grow some good healthy roots. Whether you plan on planting your cuttings down the line, or just leaving them in there to live their lives in a piece of scientific equipment, this propagation jar will work perfectly. The flat base of the round bottom also means this jar will happily sit wherever you put it down.
You think I should buy this?
I mean, I might be biased, but I do think you should buy at least one of these. Sure, the old pasta sauce jar will work as a propagation jar, but no one is going to say “Hey, where’d you get that stained old pasta jar? That looks awesome on the shelf in your bathroom!”, but they might say “Hey, that little glass science jar in your bathroom is cute, I want one!”. Aside from just impressing any visitors using your facilities, it’s one of those little things you can buy for your home that makes you feel happy when you look at it. Your plants will love it, too.
